Between the two however, REmake 3 was released. And more recently RE8 is another major hit. People really liked the return to form and my impressions is that RE7 only became more liked as time went on.Īfter that Capcom hit us with the excellent REmake 2, which I personally rank in my top3 RE titles of all time. And we saw the first game with the blessed RE Engine. arguably miss that was RE6, the Resident Evil franchise was resurrected with Resident Evil 7.
